Dr. Gerardo M. Ulfe, D.P.M. was born in Peru, South America and raised in Louisville, KY. His mother and father are both retired Medical Doctors. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1981. Dr. Ulfe obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Des Moines University in Iowa. He obtained a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 1994. He began solo practice in Louisville, Kentucky in February of 1997.

Dr. Ulfe is an accomplished Podiatrist with visionary leadership, dedication and a 'Patient Focused' practice. Dr. Ulfe offers a wide variety of services including but not limited to: Fungal Pedal Nails, Warts, Bunions, Sport Injuries, Orthotics, Diabetic Foot Care, Wellness Fairs, House Calls, Hospital Consults, Outpatient Surgery of corns/callouses, etc.
Dr. Ulfe is affliated with several local hospitals & outpatient surgery centers. He is active within the community participating in health fairs, giving educational seminars, and sponsoring local youth leagues. He is an advocate for the mentally challenged, specifically sponsoring and supporting activities related to Autism and Mental Retardation. Professionally, he is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and Kentucky Podiatric Medical Association (KPMA).
He is married with 4 children and enjoys racquetball, tennis, swimming, golf and movies.
